Payments Protection
All paid work operates under secure milestone payments. Stripe processes payments and holds milestone funds. Funds are only released when milestone conditions are met. If a dispute occurs, funds remain Stripe-held during review. Indeelancer is not an escrow or trust service.

When you fund
Your milestone payment is processed via Stripe, not sent to the developer directly. Funds are held securely by Stripe until you approve completed work. No upfront risk.
During the project
Work happens in milestones. You review and approve each phase before funds are released. If issues arise, funds stay frozen until resolved.
If something goes wrong
Our dispute resolution process kicks in. Evidence is reviewed, fair outcomes determined, and funds distributed accordingly. Neither side is left without recourse.
After the project
Ratings feed back into the system. Good developers build reputation, poor performers face consequences. Quality improves over time.

All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor (the highest level of certification). We never store your full card details on our servers.
